FM broadcasting looks set to stay with us for quite some time and, when it comes to FM tuners, Canadian Magnum Dynalab creates the best of the best. What’s more, the brand is forging ahead with a new range of superb quality digital components. In the UK, the company has just signed a new distribution agreement with County Durham-based Decent Audio.
“I’m thrilled to be working with Magnum Dynalab,” says Decent Audio’s Simon Griffin. “I’ve always thought of them as being the ‘Rolls Royce of radio’ and their range of pure analogue tuners are widely considered to be the best in the world. From entry level to top-of-range, and from solid state to valves, these excellently crafted FM tuners have a habit of easily outperforming their rivals.”

While most other manufacturers use digitally-synthesised tuning, Magnum Dynalab’s products are completely analogue throughout. To complement its line-up of tuners, the company also produces an assortment of both directional and omni-directional FM antennas. And, since the world of source audio has seen rapid change in recent years, the product mix has evolved to include satellite radios, computer-based audio systems and streaming internet audio.
Adds Griffin, “I’m equally excited about the company’s new Dynamyte range of modern streaming and audio ‘lifestyle’ components, which is due for launch soon. It’s super stylish and conveniently compact, without sacrificing any of the incredible sound quality that Magnum Dynalab is justifiably famous for. It’s sure to keep the company at the forefront of its sector.”
