Making a statement in 2025

Revival Audio are a HiFi speaker manufacturer I have a lot of respect for. They entered the massively competitive speakers market with a range of speakers that are different. I respect them for their flagship ATALANTE speaker range and how they took risks with it in terms of the designs both technically and aesthetically. I have reviewed both the ATALANTE 4 and 5 models and both offered something different and stand out in their own right.

The new ATALANTE 7 Évo is taking even more risks I feel by going even bigger and I have been told better, much better.

Whats new?

Revival Audio have told me that the ATALANTE 7 Évo are very much an evolution of their speaker designs and that they are looking to offer very high level sonic performance at their price that can rival speakers costing a lot more. This sounds like a speaker that is very much for me, even more so when you look at the details of it.

 – New midrange and tweeter driver improvements

The Revival patented ARID technology, specially-made Tetoron tweeter dome with refined coating recipe, dual-suspension midrange, oversized neodymium magnets, full aluminium chamber and many detail upgrades for enhanced rigidity and airflow control are all said to be improved.

 – Big bass driver

The use of a 15-inch BSCTM woofer with a Basalt Sandwich Construction cone featuring an oversized voice coil and magnet system with 10mm linear excursion. The 15-inch BSC is said to delivers lows down to 23 Hz with top control.

– Better cabinet

Resonance-free Cabinet Design: Golden ratio proportions and extensive structural bracing ensure a resonance-free, acoustically optimized design.

– Port that could swallow a whale

AeroVexTM Aluminum-Flanged Bass Port: High-precision airflow optimisation with reinforced aluminium flange, reducing port noise by 94+%.

– Crossover

Hand-tuned crossover: Premium air coils, all-pass filter topology, and Van den Hul Skyline internal wiring for enduring listening. An art piece of work.

– Smart Isolation Stand

Micro-adjustable spikes and the decoupling design between speakers and stand to enhance stability and vibration control.
